NOSM Holds Annual Adjoining Community Coordinator (LCC) Bearings <<>>
Written by Northern Ontario School of Medicine - News on March 4, 2010 – 4:14 pm -The Northern Ontario Opinion of Nostrum (NOSM) held its annual Municipal Community Coordinator (LCC) Bearings in Sudbury and Cracking Bay on February 23 and 24, 2010. All first-year medical students dissipate four weeks living and wisdom in georgic and slim Abo communities. The two-day period provided opportunities for students to lift their compact of the communities in which they choose be placed, and for visiting coordinators to become au courant with all program requirements. This placement, also acknowledged as the CBM 106 Integrated Community Involvement (ICE), broadens students’ cultural awareness and provides the unequalled break to observe and contemplation health issues and determinants fitting to Northern populations. <<>>
