The Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) held its second annual Faculty Affairs Retreat in Sudbury on February 5 - 6, 2010. Faculty members from the School’s Medical, Human, and Clinical Sciences Divisions attended a variety of presentations on a range of topics which included medical education research, education leadership, assessment practices, and health professional education research at NOSM. These events provided opportunities to enhance understanding of ongoing developments at the School, and to foster relationships among the many physicians and health professionals across Northern Ontario who assist in delivering NOSM’s unique model of distributed education.
